Judy was one of the best friends I had ever. I had to take buses to get from my one room apartment to MGM. And I’d wait on this corner every single morning at 5:00 and wait to take the three buses to MGM. And I’d watch this big limo go by. And one day it was raining and the limo stopped and the door opened and this unmistakable voice said “Will you please get in this car before you drown?” And it was Judy. So she took me to the studio and from that day on, before I could afford to buy a car, if she wasn’t working, she would send the limo and the driver to pick me up, take me to the studio, and bring me home everyday. She was wonderful to me.
